power outlet mod

The 2006 Prius has the same problem as the 2004 Prius in that the 12 volt accessory power plug is only powered when the car is running. Since I modified our 2004 Prius I read on Prius Chat about a hack to simply trick the existing relay and circuit into thinking the car was always running. This hack takes a little more time and effort than the 2004 Prius hack but in the end it is a better solution and it doesn't have any of the drawbacks of the 2004 Prius hack. Below are links to the instructions I used, although Darrell added a second 12 volt outlet and I didn't, his instructions were still helpful.
