Cars

We currently own 3 vehicles, a 2009 Ford Flex, a 94 Honda Civic DX with over 220,000 miles on it, and a 1964 International Scout . I also have info about some of vehicles I’ve owned and sold including a 2001 Honda Magna motorcycle, and my GMC Sonoma. The two Priuses (Prii ?) at the bottom of the page aren't our cars but I bought both of them for my parents and have done a number of mods to them.

Roxie

I inherited this civic by virtue of marrying my lovely wife. Its name is Roxie (my wifes naming) and it has been a great car. But not being able to leave any car alone, I decided I had a few gripes.  Click on the links below to read more about the various modifications and fixes to the car:

Magna - Sold 4/24/2009

After spending two years in Spain as an LDS missionary and seeing everyone get around on motorcycles I really started to want a bike. While in Spain my father sent me a brochure on the Honda Magna and I was blown away. In my opinion the Magna is as close to the perfect bike as any. With a cruiser look and a sport bike engine it combines the best of both worlds.

Scout

My Scout is a 1964 Scout 80 with the 152 4-cylinder, a t-30 three speed tranny, a dana T-18 twin stick t-case and a warn overdrive, this is one of the cleanest Scouts I have ever seen, to really appreciate it you need to see the interior of the thing.

Sonoma - Sold 6/2/08

This truck is last in the list for a reason, it is a piece. But that turned out to be a good thing because when I bought my Sonoma I was 17 years old and didn't know a thing about car repair, this truck changed all that. For that reason I will make sure that my sons first car is American made, so he too  learns how to fix cars.

Prius #1

After much anticipation I purchased this car in Provo, Utah on November 3 of 2004, it was one of the first 2nd Generation Priuses to be sold in the US. I drove it to California where my mom drove it for two years, each time I came out to California I tried to do at least one mod to it. At first my dad refused to drive the thing, more.

Prius #2

I purchased this Prius in April 2006. We then drove it out to California and drove the 2004 back to Utah for my sister. This Prius is almost the same as the 2004 but there are a few differences worth noting; this car has a backup camera, it also has an auxiliary audio input, and my moms favorite change is that the gas tank now holds a lot more gas at each fill-up, more.

After having Ollie we decided it was time for a bigger car. I have never been a Ford guy but our decision came down to 8 things that made the Flex the best option for us: Read the list and other info on about our Flex here.
